Kannan was awarded “2015 Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Indian American Chamber of Commerce and was selected by the Orlando Sentinel as one of the Central Florida 100 – One of the 100 most influential people in Central Florida. Kannan is the President of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Orlando, Florida (2016), but, as such, is the First Indian American to become President of that body. Kannan was also awarded the “Distinguished Alumni Award” (2016) by his Alma mater (NIT Tiruchy, India) for “Excellence in Service to the Society”. Kannan serves in the board of “Orlando Economic Partnership” ( Kannan is also recognized as “Central Florida Tourism Ambassador” by CFHLA.

Kannan Srinivasan was the former President of Muthamizh Sangam of Central Florida (MSCF) and now serves on the board. He has chaired the MSCF Charity Trust (501C Organization) for the past 5 years and responsible for raising funds, providing Scholarships to 75 Students from a very poor background to pursue Engineering and Medicine in India.
