Kevin Allen is Founder & CEO of Re:kap, a business transformation company and creator of Planet Jockey, the award-winning online Emotional Intelligence Leadership game counting Google, Burberry, Verizon, Rovio’s Angry Birds, and Cisco among its global clients.
During Allen’s highly successful 30-year career, he was key to the transformation of traditional ad agency McCann Erickson to a contemporary multidisciplinary powerhouse, McCann Worldgroup, becoming global agency of the year for two years running. He held senior posts in the US, EMEA and globally, including Director of McCann’s multinational accounts. He moved up to the holding company The Interpublic Group and was named its Chief Growth Officer, creating the very first holding company growth and cross company collaboration initiative which drove tens of millions in new revenues and was core to IPG’s successful turnaround.
As Vice Chairman of Lowe Worldwide, he devised a breakthrough go-to-market strategy as the very first global micro-network, resulting in Lowe being named turnaround agency of the year by Ad Age. As the industry’s celebrated new business winner, he developed programs that won $1 billion in revenues and helped his companies become number one in new business performance.
Kevin was a leader in developing breakthrough advertising campaigns, notably the pitch for the globally famous "Priceless" campaign for MasterCard, still running in over 100 countries, 15 years after its creation.
Kevin has had landmark experiences in the public sector. He was an early part of Rudy Giuliani's advisory team that prepared the way for the successful Mayoral election and turnaround of the City of New York
Kevin is a best-selling author, dubbed “The Modern Day Mad Man”, by Publishers Weekly. His Wall Street Journal bestseller The Hidden Agenda: A Proven Way to Win Business and Create a Following, has been translated into 6 languages including Chinese and his recently released The Case of the Missing Cutlery: A Leadership Course for the Rising Star, has been endorsed by Angela Ahrendts formerly of Burberry (now Apple) and has been featured on BBC Radio’s Four Thought leadership series.
Kevin is Dean of the Account Executive Academy at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, a visiting lecturer at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, the Harvard School of Design, the European Business School at Regents College London and the Miami Ad School.
